What to expect:


  • Training will be lead by a certified AS+K/CALM instructor
  • In-person and virtual options.*

Who can host:


  • Must be age 18 or over to host a presentation.
    • Gather a group of at least 10 (age 18 or over) committed to attending on your desired date. ​*Groups not to exceed 20 for virtual or 30 for in-person sessions.
    • Great for community groups, organizations, faith-based communities, business or workplace ​teams, and first responders.

AS+K? About Suicide to Save a Life teaches community partners and stakeholders to recognize the warning signs, clues, and suicidal communications of people in psychological distress and identify what action to take to prevent a possible tragedy.

C.A.L.M.

Counseling on Access to Lethal Means ( CALM) teaches how to reduce access to the methods people use to kill themselves. It covers who needs lethal means counseling and how to work with people at risk for suicide—and their families—to reduce access.
